I am no longer a Gold member for Hilton, but we still got "upgraded" to a room with a partial ocean view. It can't hurt to ask for an upgrade when you check into a hotel (I have learned)

Our room rate did not include breakfast but it did include 2 chairs and 1
umbrella free of charge per day and 2 bottles of water per day
(complimentary). Parking fee $ 12 per day
